Zesties uses healthy competition among friends to stimulate better self-care. Creating habits is hard, but Zesties has got your back and has found a way to help you create lasting habits in a fun and easy way. By giving everyday tasks and things, you should be doing point values. We have turned taking care of yourself into a game. You are playing against your friends to see who has completed the most amount of self-care against your friends. As you complete different self-care tasks, you gain points that accumulate over days as you complete different tasks such as brushing your teeth, making your bed, and much more. The desire you have to beat your friends is pushing you to complete daily self-care tasks while subconsciously creating last habits because now youre like, "OH! I have to make my bed, so I can get my 6 points for the day." There are three different tasks to choose from.
Get Fit, Eat Clean, and Everyday Self-Lovin. Each list focuses on a different but very simple aspect of your life. The Everyday Self-Lovin task list focuses more on all things self-care, including eating well and working out, while Get Fit and Eat Clean is more geared towards moving your body and eating well. Each game lasts for approximately one week, and the task list each refreshes at Midnight EST every day for the games duration. You can invite and play with all of your friends. We recommend you play with a group of 5-10 people for some good healthy competition. You can create or join up to 4 groups, each with the same task list or a different task list. As you continue to play in different groups, you will accumulate a total number of points that you can see on your profile and your friends tab. You can compare yourselves to your friends to see who has accomplished the most self-care.
